For model year 2014, the 11.95 m Lipari 41 Evolution is entering the fray with a number of improvements over its predecessor model. From 18 to 26 January this catamaran will be presented on Hall/Stand15/A 36 at Düsseldorf boat show – boot 2014 (www.boot.de).
The Lipari 41 Evolution of the Fountaine Pajot Catamarans, is part of the group of catamarans from this manufacturer (parf of Mahé 36 Evolution to Victoria 67).
Lipari 41 features new finishing touches, new installations which will attract catamaran lovers in search of performance, security, user friendliness, and of course new features for this particular model.
The Fountaine Pajot Catamarans are before anything, sailing boats constructed by sailors. This is why their hulls have the right volume to be able to sail easily with any type of sea. The sails are powerful making them perform well. The quality of equipment ensures facilitated operation so that navigation is comfortable and easy.
A new larger cockpit
There is a large cockpit with a big table which can accommodate 6 to 8 people. We appreciate the volume of this cockpit because it
offers an exceptional space thanks to the two passages coming from the back of the boat. Often, on other catamarans, the saloon is in the back of the boat and when one moves around the boat, it can obstruct circulation. Here we see the saloon completely separated, allowing comfort for all passengers aboard. Along with great space, the Lipari 41 has a large window, allowing for the cockpit and saloon to communicate easily. There is no obstacle between these two zones, facilitating passage, circulation, and life on board, especially with children.
A new open kitchen
The new kitchen is located at the entry of the catamaran. It allows for an easy communication with the other passengers in the cockpit and the pilot station. The new kitchen worktop in synthetic resin has been installed as well as a big refrigerator storing up to 144 liters.
Next to the kitchen area, there is a table which gives access to all the commands of the catamaran: VHF, electronics, GPS, and circuit breaker, among other things.
A catamaran full of light
The great saloon offers a great visibility whether we are standing or sitting, which is very pleasant. This Lipari 41 exists in 2 versions: 3 or 4 cabins (such as the model presented in the video). On one side, 2 double bed cabins which each have their own bathrooms, but can be turned into one bathroom. On the other side of the boat, the layout of the hull has been manly designed for the owner with a large cabin and a living room. In all of these cabins of this catamaran the light pours in, thanks to the port-holes of the hulls opening from the back and from the panels of the bridge.
There is also a crew’s cabin which is arranged to be completely independent with its own shower room and berth. It is accessed by the port opening in the front, offering the best level of privacy possible for the passengers.
Spacious outside areas on board
Outside, the flybridge occupies most of the bridge surface. Access to this is very easy thanks to a staircase rather than a ladder.
Large passageways and handrails ensure security on board the Lipari 41. The space is very pleasant with a 360 degree view, lounge benches for relaxation, and an eating area. At the pilot station, all operations are centralized in order to facilitate all actions from one spot, even with a smaller crew.
The Lipari 41 already has a high success rate regarding the number of orders that have already been placed. We hope for continued success for this 40 foot catamaran, as well as luxurious cruises for the new owner!
